MNP Advises PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi on Strengthening Corporate Governance and Expatriate Compliance Framework

Murzal & Partners (MNP) is pleased to have advised PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi on enhancing its corporate governance and expatriate compliance framework, supporting the company’s efforts to align its internal structures with applicable Indonesian regulatory requirements and international best practices.

Through a series of consultations, MNP worked closely with the management team to review employment and compliance considerations relevant to a workforce that includes expatriate personnel. The advisory scope covered the alignment of internal policies with Indonesian labour and immigration regulations, as well as coordination with relevant government stakeholders to ensure a practical and compliant implementation approach.

As part of this engagement, MNP assisted in formalising internal employment policies into a cohesive governance and compliance framework tailored to the company’s operational needs. One of the key deliverables arising from this process was the preparation of an Expatriate Employee Handbook, designed as a practical reference to support consistent application of policies while reinforcing compliance with Indonesia’s employment and immigration regimes.

The handover session, held at PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi’s office, marked the conclusion of this advisory phase and reflected the collaborative approach between both teams throughout the engagement.

This engagement underscores MNP’s commitment to providing integrated immigration and corporate advisory services, supporting clients not only in meeting regulatory requirements, but also in establishing clear, well-structured governance frameworks that enable sustainable business operations. MNP appreciates the trust placed by PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi and looks forward to continuing to support the company in its future legal and compliance initiatives.
